Start with the ingredient. Check the exact product.
Orforglipron is an oral, small-molecule GLP-1 receptor agonist. It acts on a pathway involved in appetite and blood-glucose regulation. A tablet presentation does not remove the need for a prescription, suitability assessment or follow-up.
Foundayo is Lilly’s US-approved orforglipron product for weight management in eligible adults, alongside dietary changes and physical activity. OrfoXen and Foundayo are different brands. The US approval does not establish OrfoXen’s approval, quality or interchangeability in Pakistan.

Make the consultation useful.
Write down the questions you want answered before making a decision. Bring the exact pack name, a photograph of every label panel, your current medicines and any available product leaflet. Ask the prescriber to explain which information applies to the product they are recommending.
- What is the reason for considering this medicine in my care plan?
- Which product and formulation are being prescribed?
- What follow-up will be needed, and who should I contact with a concern?
- How will I understand the full cost and the expected duration of care?
A treatment plan is more than a prescription.
Weight-management medicines can be one part of a broader plan. Nutrition, physical activity, personal preferences, health history and the ability to continue follow-up all matter when choosing care. Your clinician should review benefits, risks and practical limitations with you.
